Gordes, in the heart of a 6 ha Provencal landscape (green oaks, olive trees, almond trees, stone shepherd huts), fortified 16th century farmhouse mixing old materials and contemporary designer furniture. Ground floor of the house: living room with a fire place and flat screen TV/DVD, dining room located in the original stone shepherd hut, fitted kitchen with a professional La Cornue cooker, a laundry room with wc. Upstairs: 1 bedroom w/ a queen-size bed, a shower room with wc and access to a small terrace, 1 bedroom w/ a queen-size bed and an open bathroom (tub, shower, wc). This bedroom leads to a lobby for the 3 additional bedrooms independently accessible from the courtyard as well: 1 bedroom w/ a queen-size bed and a bathroom with wc; 1 bedroom w/ a king-size bed, access to the small terrace, open bathroom with wc and direct connection to the 5th bedroom w/ 2 single beds. There is a large courtyard facing south for meals protected by an almond tree. Apart from the house, in this rocky and untouched environment, one of the most amazing swimming pool of the area: 21 x 5 meters, heated in mid season and secured by an alarm, with a breathtaking view on the Luberon valley, Alpilles hills and stone carved houses. Next to it, a summer kitchen with BBQ and a large fridge will be the perfect spot for long meals around the family table.
